Splitting of the Ego in the borderline/psychotic cases.

Hello everyone!

I would like books/papers suggestions, on this subject:

It's formal definition(s)? The processes/stages it follows? The various possible causes? Clinical examples?

My level of knowledge on psychology / classical psychoanalysis theory, is a level above average, however please don't hesitate to suggest me, studying hard material.

Thank you,

Askalot

Askalot I was wondering if you are a student? Because your question is phrased more in that sense. If so, you will find this forum is geared more to support one another both in and out of therapy, instead of a being a psychology forum for students to get help with essay/assignment questions.

I do hope you can find the information you are looking for.

Askalot I’m not aware of any psychology forum’s for students, but maybe you could have a Google, see what comes up and if you like the feel of it. Also, if you are struggling, try going to the library, they can help not only with books. I’m not sure how old you are, but they can help you with research techniques, so you can utilise better ways of finding the info, especially via journals, you are seeking.
