For me, it is therapists like Burgo (I consider him to be a giant condescending jerkwad) or any of them who might think they know what a client might need, that would cause me to quit if I thought I was becoming dependent upon one of them in any serious sort of way as a specific. I think of therapists as mostly interchangeable and while at this point I may be somewhat dependent upon the idea of therapy, I see more than one to help diminish the possibility of dependence upon any particular therapist.
