You can't go wrong with those two books! They are extremely helpful in making sense of what happens in therapy. Reading them made me feel not so unique, not so alone, and gave me courage to ask for what I wanted in therapy.

(On a totally unrelated side note...I liked your avatar, but didn't recognize it from the selection I'd seen on this site, so I went back into the edit profile function and discovered that we can now have our own custom avatars! I wonder how long that's been there...so I picked this one because my "inner child" is the true "strummergirl"
