I just finished this book. It is by Karyl McBride and it is about daughters that were raised by narcissistic mothers. This book gave me a lot of insight about myself and the relationship my mother and I have. Good read.
MsC yes completely agree with you. I was also the invisible child but I did have a lot of having to be "perfect" fitting moms view of what I should or shouldn't be. I loved how she covered the high-achieving and self-sabotaging roles. I am definitely the high-achieving but I don't feel I do enough. Never good enough, never doing my best, can always do more.
