While I’m on a social roll, thought I’d start a couple of fun threads to keep me going.

So, here’s one I pinched from another forum I used to belong to some years back.

I’ll start with a list of my top ten favourites in a category, and then ask the next poster to list their top ten favourites in another category. That poster will then list their top ten in that category and suggest another category for the following poster to list their top ten favourites, and so on...

So my top ten favourite smells:

3. Baking bread
4. Jasmine flowers

Draggers from what you say of War Horse I think I’d have to avoid it, anything teary with animals in it I just can’t bear (and I can imagine how heart wrenching a movie about a horse being sent to war would be)

Lol and I love how you put your home as number one in visual beauty/sights, that’s wonderful! And ok where are the Iguazu waterfalls????? Hm yeah stew, you’re right, especially the second day. He he too many things to choose from.

Xoxo I’m not a chef, can’t really cook to tell the truth (hence REALLY easy things like fried/grilled cheese) but yeah salad is a must every day.

Love your list of sensations – got to agree with number ten especially, that would be right up near the top on my list.

HIC I just noticed your signature quote. LOL do you read Kierkegaard for fun? I think I’ve read your quote ten times trying to work out what he means there, sounds like what goes on in my own head Roll Eyes

Lilies, is Domino the one by Van the Man? Good one! Apart from that and I’m Too Sexy though, I don’t know any of the others Eeker who are they by?

Ok next category: top ten flowers
LL, yeah, I read Kierkegaard for fun. Smiler Lol, mostly I just have this weird habit of reading The Sickness Unto Death every couple years. (T tells me it's on my prohibited reading list for now, though. Smiler) Have also read Fear and Trembling, Edifying Discourses, and have tried parts of some of his more difficult works (Either/Or, Concept of Anxiety)-- but they've mostly proven indecipherable or over my head. The quote in my signature is from Sickness Unto Death. It has to be one of the more convoluted and wrenchingly worded sentences out there, but I like how it seems to have a brilliant thought in it that kind of glimmers at you after about ten readings. Smiler

next: favorite sounds
HIC, no heroes, all heroines?

Aw Draggers I wanted to do this one, you've obviously gotten out of bed before me today Cool You do have some unusual sounds that you like - what does a horse clearing its nose sound like? Or is it what it means to you rather than the quality of the sound itself? Funny how different things affect people differently, lawnmowers and ticking clocks would drive me crazy (though actually I CAN sense a feeling of peace and calm and all's well with the world when I think of a lawnmower on a summer's evening - you are very creative you know!)

LOL I think I'll add my list anyway he he.

1. Running water

Top 10 tourist attractions/places you would like to visit if you were a millionaire and you could do ANYTHING or go ANYWHERE.
