Oh my goodness, that was hard... I’m sure I’m forgetting so many.
I'm not sure I could think of 10. This is the type of question that would require me to really think for hours, so I will just put some random ones out here.

Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen)
A Wild Sheep Chase (Haruki Murakami)
the city in which i love you (Li-Young Lee, poetry)
The Bible
The Harry Potter books (I am NOT counting these as six separate books, for sure, otherwise I wouldn't bring them)
My C.S. Lewis Signature Collection (theological writings)
The Eight (Catherine Neville)
Imzadi (a Star Trek: TNG book by Peter David)

A few of these are really meaningful to me, but most of them are just ones I could read over and over, either because they are easy/enjoyable or they are very nostalgic to me from a certain period of my life. I know there are books I've read that I will at some point this week be like, "Doh, how did I forget that?!" Oh well. This is two minutes off the top of my head.

Edit: Oh, and a blank notebook, because with two years uninterrupted, I'd finally have the time to write my own! And, 'cause I only have nine still, the best poetry anthology I can find...still don't have one up to my standards.
1. The Boy Scout Handbook (lots of useful info on how to survive in the wild.) Big Grin
2. The Oxford English Dictionary (they actually make for interesting reading. I know, total dweeb!)
3. Bible
4. Complete works of William Shakespeare
5. Complete works of Jane Austen
6. The Lord of The Rings by JRR Tolkien
7. Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay
8. Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson
9. Attachment in Psychotherapy by David Wallin
10. CS Lewis anthology
Great thread AG. It made me think a bit...

Gone With the Wind - Margaret Mitchell
I can dream about Rhett Butler rescuing me

Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
I can dream about Heathcliff

Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
I can dream about Rochester... okay do we see a theme going on here??? LOL

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - Betty Smith
A book of hope and family

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
An amazing story of survival and enduring love

Tatiana and Alexander - Paullina Simons
The sequal to The Bronze Horseman (part 2 of the story)

A Tree for Peter - Kate Seredy
Story of a young fatherless boy living in a sad Shantytown during the depression and the miracles that occurred there.

Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien
Maybe I will FINALLY have time to read this book!!

General Theory of Love - Lewis et al
A book about love and attachment and neurobiology written in a lovely poetic style

The 900 Days- The Siege of Leningrad - Harrison Salisbury
A real life true account of the blockade of food and supplies into Leningrad Russia by the Germans during WWII and the incredible courage and bravery of the people of Leningrad (today called St. Petersburg) in not only surviving but protecting their incredible art treasures and in keeping their culture alive during horrendous conditions.

Hopefully by the time I finish all these books I will be rescued by a handsome sailor on a luxury yacht...and I would not complain if it happened to be my T!! Big Grin Wink

I hope I can come up with 10 books. I love to read, but often don't even know the name of the book I'm reading. Here goes:
1. The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck
2. Circle of Friends
3. Get Me Out of Here by Rachel Reiland
4. The Other Boleyn Girl
5. Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult
6. Almost any Jodi Picoult book
7. Rebuilding when your relationship ends, by dr. bruce fisher(helped process a lot after my divorce.)
8. The Secret Life of Bees
9. Kristen Hannah books
10. Dianne Chamberlain books

That's it!!
Draggers The Road Less Travelled was very good. I go back and read parts periodically. Makes me think.

I can't remember names of books because I read from a kindle now. So I don't see the cover of a book ever. Only when I start it. When I turn the kindle back on to continue reading, it just pops on where I left off. I am reading a page turner by Kristin Hannah right now but have no idea what the name of it is. I probably should pay more attention to the titles so I can recommend to someone if its a good book. My brain can only remember so much I guess Wink
