I voted for a kitty cat, but actually would have liked all three! I LOVE your monkeys Yaku, as soon as I saw the pix you put up in your other thread, I rushed off to find a 'how to' tutorial on internet. Whether I get around to making one though...

You know this could definitely be a little cottage industry business you could start up - have you thought about that?

Well, Kitty Cat won, so here it is:

Kind of hard to do the answer for the second question without seeming like a stalker for asking people to volunteer their addresses. Wink The second place answer is to give it to a child, but I know so many that I have to decide. I never got Boo a proper birthday present (she had a jumpy at her party and we couldn't afford a gift), but she already has the white monkey. But, if I give one to one of my nephews, I have to make one for each of my others first. The kids I know all have siblings too, so same goes there. What a dilemma, but the good kind. Big Grin

Triple awwwwwwwww! That is so cute I want I want I want I want!!!!! I’ll happily send you my address Big Grin

Hey Yaku you’ve got a real talent there, I’m impressed (and envious as hell.) Both in the monkeys and the kitty cat, there’s something about them that is real. Don’t know what I’m trying to describe, but they are more than ‘just’ stuffed animals, they’ve got feeling, or something. It shows. They’re brilliant.

OK, so here is the whole collection, minus one secret friend.

Glove panda (T's Christmas gift, he named him Artie) sitting with his friend the Sock Monkey (one year therapy anniversary) who remains unnamed by T:

Sock monkey number two, for Boo (along with Kitty posted earlier in this thread, she sleeps with both every night now). This one looks like a sheep with a monkey tail. I had to crop off his arm, because Boo was coloring in the background...

Morse the horse, T's birthday gift, which resides at his second office that I sometimes get to visit. Artie is going to go hang out there with him tomorrow, because I forgot to get a good pic of him (the one above T sent me).

T says I should start a business. Smiler I don't think I could sell them for worth the time I put into them, though. For some reason, they feel more valuable if I give them away than if I sell them. Big Grin

Here is the brown bear. I couldn't find the eyes I wanted (golden yellow) without going back out to the store, so he has blue-green eyes. I gave him as a gift for the exchange at my family's. They ran late and Boo was going to miss her bedtime, so I left just as they were starting, giving my number to my niece...so I don't know who he ultimately went home with. Frowner

Wow!!! I love them all <3
Sooo cute, creative and fun!
You are a genius yakusoku Smiler

Few years ago I made a whole army of Towel-teddies, most of them have left to live with other people!

They are not as creative as your Sock-Animals, but I had fun making them - Maybe I should try to saw a Sock-Friend, maybe that will help me feel a little better.
Is that Ok with you Yaku?
Little Me - Those are absolutely adorable! You should try sock animals. If you could make those amazing bears from towels, sock and glove animals cinch for you. The bear is from gloves, by the way, not socks. I'm making a polar bear right now to give to the little girl I was watching in November as a belated birthday gift. I was crocheting her a hat, but it turned out too big.
Thank you Lucina Smiler

Thank you too Yaku, yes I am definitely going to try the sock animals, have to start looking around for some nice socks or gloves!

I love the letters „No nonsense“ on the socks you used for Morse the Horse. Fits good T´s very well

I look forward to see the polar bear, hope you will post a photo when it´s ready!
My H and my T have said the same thing. But the problem is, with the time I put into them and how much it costs to ship them anywhere, I really couldn't make any money off of them. I shipped one once and it cost me like $8. Maybe I could get cheaper through USPS, but I can't imagine that someone is going to want to pay $15-20, plus $8 shipping for these little guys. Mr. Froggy took me hours, because I didn't have a template, I just made him up from my mind and had to do a few tries with his legs and toes to get them right. Even if I nailed it down to a science, each of these guys would take me at least three hours (bear) and as much as eight, because the whole thing is handstitched. I bought a crafting sewing machine (little cheap one), but it snagged too much on the socks to do any fine maneuvering. So, I'm just not sure it's practical to make a business, just from pure time consumption. I also sometimes spend a lot of time picking through different buttons for eyes. I think I'm too meticulous to be practical, LOL. Wink I do wish I could make more of them and share them with people who wanted, though. Just so you know, I would gladly make/send them to anyone who wanted if I had all the time in the world to do it. So, anyone on here could PM me a request if you don't think I'm a crazy stalker and maybe it would take a few months until I get time, but I could make one for you.
