I hope it's okay to plug my own book. It was very helpful to me writing it, and people are telling me that it's been helpful to them to read. I hope it will be for you. You can look at a free sample on Amazon.com to see if you think it will be helpful for you.

Eighteen years ago I took in a 3-year-old boy from foster care. As it turned out, he had been horrifically abused. As it turned out, so had I. Our journey through violence, destruction, therapy, police interventions, and suicide attempts is described in my book, RAISING ABEL, which just came out on Amazon Kindle. It should be available in paperback also, very soon. The reviews have been good so I can recommend it without blushing too much.

Hi OtherMother,
I just bought a copy on Kindle and am looking forward to reading it (I am working through a large backlog right now Smiler) and you're certainly not getting rich off the book for the price you're charging. Big Grin

If anyone else is interested in taking a look at the book, here's the link to the Amazon page:

Raising Abel by Carolyn Nash

Keep us updated on how it's doing. I'll post about the book once I've read it.
