Dude:

Yes, it sure does make sense......Many of us have triggers that move us to that "painful emotional place"......The one real great thing about having a therapist is that I have someone to move to that "painful emotional place"....in other words....I no longer have to go to that place alone......(make sense??)

well, I worked with one therapist while I was at the University on she was certified in self hypnosis along with pain management, chronic illness, anxiety/trauma, etc...

We worked together pretty much my 4 years there and one of the issues we worked on was managing chronic pain due to chronic illness that I have had. IT has been progressive and annoying. Anyways, We did self hypnosis for pain control as well as anxiety control through painful procrdures. I also attended a pain group for awhile that taught a lot of pacing, cognitive behavioral type therapies, etc for dealing with chronic pain.

Im sure more can be added to this site on that subject but this site is quite amazing!
