Hi Everyone,

I recently bought this e-book (it's available as a paperback too). It is written by Dr Laura Schlessinger( I know... most people either love her or hate her!) The book has some good reviews, and although the good Dr could exhibit some more empathy and tact on her radio program I recently more often than not find myself agreeing with her advice.

Has anyone else here read the book? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts and comments about it...

I was a captive audience to Schlessinger's radio program because of the place I worked. I will have to say I grew to dispise her for her lack of empathy for people who were hurting from deep mental illness. her thrust seemed to be "just get over it" and " just do what you're supposed to do in life". No empathy whatever for anyone who can't go out and make it big in the world like we're all expected to do.

Moreover, her so-called "DR" title was for a degree in physical therapy and not psychiatry. I've spent many thousands of dollars for therapy to get over "parents" who were just like her, even her tone of voice. Ditto for judge Judy, while were at it.
