this is a good site for safe free online games if you need a moment or two to distract through a rough time. It was passed on to me by my T after she read a study about how non-triggering video games can help PTSD veterans get through tough moments of being flooded.

This website designed by a univeristy has different "brain training games" including a course for people with PTSD. I did it for a couple of months about a year ago, and I think I am going to do it again. It's supposed to help over time with some of the cognitive effects of PTSD. I'm not sure if it does that for me or not, but I'm working on going back to school and I think it helps me with focus. Either way, it's a good distraction. It's free to try out for two weeks (and no weird stuff about it). It was recommended to me by an OT I saw a few times to help me deal with hoe PTSD affects me at work and school. Just thought I'd pass it on in case anyone is interested or would find it helpful.
