POLL: If you had to start over... (might *trigger*)

I realize even thinking about this question might be a trigger to some people here, so I'm just putting it up front that it is a triggering topic to me when I hear others' experiences and fears about earlier-than-expected therapy terminations.

I have been thinking about whether or not I would even pursue therapy anymore if I lost my T and had to start again and it got me wondering how others feel.

This question is assuming you feel at least somewhat positive about your current T/P and treatment...

If something outside of your control (e.g. you had to relocate, T retired or moved) caused you to have to terminate therapy before you felt like the work was "finished," do you think you would pursue a new therapist?

If you would not pursue therapy with a new T/P, how do you think would you deal with the change?

Was this question triggering for you? (Sorry)
