This is a new forum suggested by Spagirl to discuss issues around growing up with or dealing with an alcoholic parent. Or for anyone struggling with an alcoholic in their lives.

Just a reminder for everyone posting, that there are many people in therapy who also struggle with using alcohol in an unhealthy manner so please be sensitive about making blanket statements about all alcoholics that could make other people feel condemned or ostracized. Keeping it personal is best.
